The47RH 47RE 5 Pinion Steel Front Planetary is a must have upgrade for the 47RH transmission. The factory transmission is equipped with either a 4 or 5 pinion aluminum planetary. The aluminum planetary is notorious for stripping out the splines at the intermediate shaft. This item is also a direct replacement if you need to replace your front planet on a 47RE transmission.
Our 5 pinion steel planet is a direct drop in and will fit any 47RH or 47RE transmission.
